Walker Payne

Walker Payne is an independent filmmaker and digital content producer from Birmingham, Alabama. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Walker attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, studying English and Film, before transferring to the University of Montevallo in the spring of 2023. While there, Walker pursued a degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Digital Filmmaking. In the fall of 2025, Walker was elected to the BEA Executive Cabinet, where he served as the club's Communications Director. In the spring of 2026, Walker graduated summa cum laude from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. Now, his primary areas of interest lie in film production and screenwriting, as well as content creation and social media management.
