Walker Payne

UM student Walker Payne ('26) is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Walker attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, studying English and Film, before transferring to the University of Montevallo in the spring of 2023. Since arriving at Montevallo, Walker has worked on various film sets and projects, and in the fall of 2025, he was elected to the BEA Executive Cabinet, where he now serves as the club's Communications Director. Walker is a student filmmaker and creative writer; his primary areas of interest lie in film production and screenwriting, as well as content creation and social media management.
